Hi All,

I have a query setup to pull a field called "Country" into my database that feeds from a linked spreadsheet.

Countries appear as follows

- UK(XX)
- France(XX)
- Belgium (XX)

How do I remove the (XX) from each country?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
If you are trying to remove it from the Access table, open up the table, highlight the column, and select Find/Replace from the Find ribbon on the Home menu.
Then, replace (XX) with nothing. Be sure to select the "Any Part of Field" from the Match selection.
