Removing Duplicates in excel

Hi Everyone,

Please can you suggest ways using excel and excel vba for removing duplicates.

If you have Excel 2007 or later, there is an inbuilt function on the Data tab to remove Duplicates.

If the data depends upon there being unique values in several columns, you can select which columns you want to be looked at.

ok, sure, but let`s say, there are values which are duplicates are not exactly same, for example:

Delhi
Dellhi
Deelhi

How can you tackle similar names, and keep only 1 instance from them.
