Hi everyone

I need to remove a a faulty drop down validation from a Excel 2003 sheet which has track changes activated (i.e. is shared). The usual way, turning off the shared workbook settings, doesn't work, because I need to keep my change history.

Is there another way I can do this, maybe remove the validation settings via VBA?

Thanks for your help!

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
If you generate a sheet of the change history and archive that somewhere else for reference, would that be acceptable? Then remove share, and do changes.
