Using Win11/Excel 365

I have uninstalled OneDrive and performed a host of other suggestions I have found online to no avail. OneDrive still shows default file location when saving a file. I have no desire and even less trust to use OneDrive. The fact that Win11/Office365 insists on persistence is evidence enough for suspicious intent.

So, is there a way to eliminate this scourge from Office 365?

Go to File >> Options >> Save, and then...

1) check/select "Save to Computer by default"

2) specify default local file location

I finally got it but had to do it from the File | Save menu. There is an elipse there. Clicking on it gives the option [Make Default]. OneDrive is gone now - good riddance!

That's great, I'm glad you were able to solve it.

By the way, you should mark your post as the solution. ;)

Cheers!
