Hi,
I wondered if anyone could help with my query.
I have an excel spreadsheet that is produced by a report that pulls address into one of the columns that I use for a mailmerge.
The problem is that at the end of almost all of these addresses there is an additional line break at the end or in some cases 2:
1 Example Street
Flower Road
Elms Close
Birmingham
(Extra line break)
I currently use the SUBSTITUTE formula to look for the city and a page break and replace with just the city but it becomes very time consuming when there are lots of different cities or sometimes an additional region so they end up mushed together
Does anyone know of a way I can quickly remove line breaks if there is a) another line break directly after and/or b) no more lines after
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kat
