Remove external data and save workbook

I am using Excel 2003 at work and have made a workbook with 2 sheets that brings data from some queries in an Access DB (also 2003) via MS Query, then presents the data in a report with tables and pivot tables. The file is 23MB in size.
Is there a way to program a button (I can manage a bit of vba) to save the report (preferably with a new name containing today's date) but without the external data, leaving only the values and format?

Thank you in advance!
