I have 1000s of lines of numbers in the following format: 0000-00-000-0000 and I need to remove the last hyphen so the data looks like: 0000-00-0000000. Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi,

If they're All exactly in that format, B1 or C1 formula:

Book1
ABC
10000-00-000-00000000-00-00000000000-00-0000000
Sheet369
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B1=SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-","",3)
C1=REPLACE(A1,12,1,"")
