looking for a way to remove duplicate data wile entering data without any popup messages

have you considered using conditional format to identify duplicates, possibly easier for the the eye to see, than monitoring with worksheet change events and some sort of array and a delete routine

i need it for a excel program that will adentify a person by barcode and i dont want the barcode shuld be able to be scand 2 times

there is a contradiction, if you are scanning and a duplicate is created then you have scanned two times, all i suggested was we know the duplication will occur, so that is the time to see it and deal with
