My colleague and I are trying to help a client remove the document properties box appearing everytime they open a file from a shared site - the client is downloading this particular file and now sees the document property box open everytime they download it. Procedures were followed to remove it by following the Prepare/Properties link and uncheck it but it keeps reappearing every time the file is reopened from client site. I believe the file was created in and has been saved in 2010 but the client uses 2007
Can you suggest an option to keep the document properties window from appearing?
I don’t see this when I open the file, but our Client Onsite team at the client office always sees it when they open the file from a shared site and cannot get it to open without this window showing up. Any ideas on if it is a network file sharing setting or a local drive setting issue? </SPAN></SPAN>
The client has followed the directions for closing document properties in Excel 2007 but the window continues to appear upon reopening the file even though the file was NOT SAVED with the properties open.

Can someone suggest what the issue might be or how to resolve this for our client?</SPAN>
