Remove character from middle of cell value

I need to remove the plus (+) from the middle of a number. I was going to create a Column C to extract the plus out of the text in B, so that I can sort the spreadsheet to be in station order. Could someone please help. Yes, I know I can copy it over a column then find & replace in that column but what about an automated thing.
