In D I have URL strings of varying lengths and varying amounts of "/" characters.

In E I would like all of the URL string to display minus anything after the final "/".

Is there a formula I can enter for this?

Thank you

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
How about
Excel Formula:
=LEFT(A2,FIND("^",SUBSTITUTE(A2,"/","^",LEN(A2)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A2,"/","")))))
