OK, I am at a new job and using Access 2000.

I created a database and started to create a form and then tried to delete it but was unable too. I found out I don't have permission.

How could I not if I created the db, in looking around I found that I have restrictions on queries, tables, reports etc. How can I have full Access to everything and not be restricted.

I hope there is a simple answer to this.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
One thing I forgot to mention, that if I go to the security option > permission's tab. Some of the options such as read, update, delete, etc. are grayed out and I can not check the box.

Interesting. Had you opened a different (secured) database prior to creating the new DB? Or do you have to enter a pwd when opening Access?

Nope,

This was the first database I created. I think everything has been newly installed so no one has had an opportunity to set any restrictions.

It's driving me crazy.

Sounds like a server issue (maybe the workgroup file that is installed on your machine has limited permissions set for "admin").

Happy hunting,

For some weird reason, even though I did'nt do anything. I am now able to delete the form????????

Whatever, as long as I am able to do what I need.
