Excel 2007 user.
I have a spreadsheet with over 1000 lines of data, that is spearated into 30 different subtotal groups.
I tried to eliminate the subtotal lines and revert back to the original dataset. I started clicking the small box in the upper left corner to select the entire dataset. Then I selected the 'Subtotal' option on the 'Data' tab. Then I clicked 'OK', then 'Remove All'. When I follow these steps, it does remove the subtotal lones, but it also deleted some lines of data.
If I "click-and-drag" to select the data set and follow the same step to remove the subtotal lines, it does the job without eliminating any data from the dataset.
Any idea why one method removes data, whereas the second method completes the job correctly?
