Hi is this only for a Mac computer to connect with a Windows machine? or can i do it with a Mac to Mac Computer?

If so how?

Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
There are a ton of programs that assist computor users in "remote access". Often times there are restrictions for remoting accross systems like what you described: a Mac trying to remote access on a Windows Desktop. But there are programs out there that allow for access accross all platforms.

Well, there is a program that apple sells off of their website for remote access between macs misleadingly called "Apple Remote Desktop 3". You can also do this with the "back to my Mac" function of a MobileMe account.
