Relationship and Manage Data Modle icons under Data Tab, are these shortcuts for Power Pivot?

Hi
I can add Power Pivot Tab to the ribbon by going to File-->Option-->Add in--> and then check Power Pivot box. I got that. However, if I do not do that, I can see under Data Tab --> Relationship and Manage Data Model icons. My guess, these 2 icons (Relationship and Manage Data Model) are part of Power Pivot. They are basically just a shortcuts. So I do not need to go to File-->Option--> Add-in and check Power Pivot box, Am I right? Thank you very much.

I think these are a simplified way to create a model that dates back to when MS forced you to purchase Pro Plus to get the full model experience. Can’t be 100% sure
