Region not correct

I have a problem I'm not sure if I can explain it well. Here goes:

I have a sheet that has continuous data going from row 2 to row 142, row 1 is a header row. I try to sort and it only sorts through row 113 and leaves 114 on unsorted. I use the keyboard shortcut ctrl-down in any column from row 2 to find the end of the region and get to row 113, but there is data in row 114 and on. Also, my row headers show up until I get to row 114, when they change to column letters. I've deleted rows 114, then 113 and get the same result.

It's not a region problem directly, because if I select the current region, that comes out correct.

Any ideas?

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
I worked around it, but still am wondering if there was a better way.

I inserted rows above row 113 and copied the data that was now further down up into the inserted rows, then deleted the rows from which I copied. This seemed to repair the problem.

It sounds like your data is in a table upto row113, but the rest of the data was added below the table.
