Hi Team,

I manage a small team with 5 members in it. I want to create an excel sheet (tracker) of their daily activities. I want a master excel sheet also. So, when they update anything in their excel sheet, I should be able to see it in my master excel sheet. I do not have any Sql Server so connecting through the sql server wont be possible. However, we have shared network drive(if it can be used). Please let me know if you need anymore information. I can share the an excel sheet also if that helps.

Learning is fun, when you meet the right mentor.

Regards,
Agni

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
1. Is it okay if one of your team member can see report of other team member or a compiled report?
This question will help in setting access control
2. what information are you seeking from your team? Are the criteria fixed or they change periodically?
3. If you can share a dummy report file it would be more helpful. You can share a dropbox link or something.

let's see ..

Hi Shrikant,
Thank you for your response. Below is the format that each one of them will be using.
<tbody>
Name
Date
Emp ID
Team Leader
CE
Compliance
Observation
Auditor
</tbody>
The idea is they will have the sheet saved in their computer and when each of them fills the data it would be saved in the same format in my master file. The fields dont change at any point in time. And they should not be able to see anybody else's sheet.

By the way, the ambigram is really cool. :)

Are all the teams sheets in the same folder on the shared drive? If they are then it would be easier to periodically extract from all files in the folder
