I use excel 2010. I have a spreadsheet that is about 80 sheets deep, give or take. I have a "data sheet" that import data from a text file. When I click refresh data connections my workbook gives me reference errors. But when I delete all info from data sheet then import the data from text file manually everything works just fine. I tried to import the data to a separate sheet and have the data sheet reference the new sheet. refreshing data connections still did not work and gave me reference errors.
This work book is self contained except for the data text file.
If the text file is the exact same number of rows then I get no errors. But when the text file row number changes by either increasing or decreasing then I get reference errors. I am not using pivot tables. Just excel.
My data file length always changes and therefore always give me reference errors with refresh data connections.
Is there something that I can do to fix this?
