I have a sub-form in a form. The subform is based upon a query I have created. I would like to create a refresh button, to update the information in the subform, running the query. Now, the trick is I would like it to update in the form.

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Use the wizard to create an open form button based on the form you want to refresh. Then add the closed macro in an wa-la, refresh button!

thanks

Private Sub openclose_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_openclose_Click

Dim stDocName As String
Dim stLinkCriteria As String

DoCmd.Close

stDocName = "Name_of_Form"
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

Exit_openclose_Click:
Exit Sub

Err_openclose_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_openclose_Click

End Sub
