Referencing how many times a name appears, then showing it in a separate column

Hello all! I know this sort of question is usually touched upon but this is so specific I just couldn't quite find the answer I need, so I'm hoping you fine people may be able to help.

So every day I have to download a spreadsheet with people who are still booked onto a website. I then contact them to try and get them to log off, but I've now been asked to log any people who are on the list a lot.

What I'd like is to be able to download the new sheet and add a new column that automatically sees how many times they've appeared in previous workbooks. I'm happy to integrate each daily workbook into one, should it be easier.

I hope this makes sense and isn't just some crazy pipe dream! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just thought I'd add some clarification and I can't seem to find the edit button so apologies about the double post.

Let's say I download the new spreadsheet, "30.11.20", on there I have a column "User" which is the names of all the people who have logged into this website over that day. I'd like a column "Repeat User?" to cross reference with sheets before it (for example I'd like "30.11.20" to check "01.11.20" to "29.11.20") and see if "Joe Bloggs" appears and how many times he appears over those days. I've seen a few COUNTIFS forumlas (I believe they're called) but I don't think this would quite work with what I need. I hope this is a bit more informative for what I'm hoping to achieve! Again, any help is welcomed and appreciated.
