Referencing a cell in a DAX formula

Excel 2010.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reference a cell within a DAX formula.

Currently I have calculated fields that looks for field = to 2014 or 2013. I would perfer to refence a data sheet cell and only have to update that cell rather then update all formulas every month.

Thanks for any help you may have, even if the answer is not poosible.
