I have several workbooks. One contains references to various cells in each of the other workbooks. Everything seems to pull through quite nicely except for cells containing text. Cells that refer to another cell containing numbers pull through to my spreadsheet but text does not. Any help is greatly appreciated.
A few specifics:
1: the "source" workbooks are not opened. Only the "Destination" workbook. If I open the source, then the cells pull through like normal. I don't want to have to open them all every time.
2: The source workbooks are automatically deleted and new updated workbooks are created daily. The new workbooks are formatted identically to the prior ones.
