Hello,

I have a worksheet that has dates down the lefthand side. These dates get referenced in multiple other worksheets in the same workbook. However, on the main sheet I like to go and fill the box in yellow to show the event was rained out. Is there a way for the yellow fill to automatically show up in the other sheets?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Karen

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

  1. Most easy way out is to add a helper column and use that to mark that event has rained out.
  2. Fetch that column along with dates to other sheets
  3. Use that column for conditional formatting dates on any sheet and way you need.
