I wan't to autofill a collumn with the contents of a row on another sheet.

So for example

Sheet1!A1 = Sheet2!D28
Sheet1!A2 = Sheet2!H28
etc.

Because I have te repeat this 60 times I'm looking for an easy way.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

In Sheet1A1:

=INDEX(Sheet2!$28:$28,4*ROWS($1:1))

Copy down as required.

Sorry - what if what doesn't start in the first column? Your first example started in column D.

I mean,

your sollution works if the first collumn is collumn A and I wan;t to refer to the fourth collumn in this case column D.

In my case I use this formula in multiple columns.

for example

D11, D12, D13, D14 = K28, O28 etc
E11, E12, etc. = L28, P28 etc.

I guess my first questions wans't clear in this respect.

I'm afraid it's still not very clear what you require, but perhaps this in D11 and copied across and down:

=INDEX(Sheet2!$28:$28,4*(ROWS($1:1)-1)+COLUMNS($A:K))
