Hello,

I am getting REF errors when trying to delete a row at the top of my worksheet however the formulas do not even reference that row. Then once I press undo after getting the ref error it completely deletes a bunch of other random rows and I have to go into the version history to recover it. Does anyone know why this is?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Maybe the formulas reference another worksheet which DOES reference that top row?
Or there's some form of VBA in there that recalculates when cells change?
