I think I came across a cool workaround for gluing connectionlines to the corners of a rectangle. The normal connection points are in thecenter of each side. I wanted connection points at the corners.
Using Insert Shape, I drew a large rectangle whilezoomed out to ~10%. I then zoomed into the maximum making the rectangle verylarge. Scroll to one of the corners. Right click for Edit Points. Hover the mouse over the corner point asaccurately as possible. Right click for Add Point. Finished.
After doing that, ALL of the 4 rectangle side centerconnection points “switched” to the corners. I was able to glue connections tothe corners but no longer the centers. I then drew a “normal” rectangle (whichhas side center connection points) of the exact size, put it on top of theother and grouped them.
The new shape now has side center and cornerconnectors. Remember it operates as agroup.
