I tried to set security on my Access database, and have been unhappy with the results (I have Access 2002 and used the wizard). I backed up the database and System.mdw file before I started, but for some reason, when I connect back to the old System.mdw, it does not revert back to the old unsecure database. I don't know what happened. I made a few attempts at the security, some using the wizard, some using instructions from the Microsoft web site. Maybe this had something to do with it?

I could revert back to the old unsecure database, but numerous changes have been made since then. I was wondering if it is possible to create a new database, import all the objects from the secure database, and then use that as my new, unsecure database? Is this a good idea? How do I import the VBA code? Do I just cut and paste that?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Have you attempted importing every single object into a new .mdb file? If it will allow you to, then all of your modules will import with your objects.

That is what I was trying to do, but I was getting an error message saying I don't have rights.
