Anybody have Excel 2007 and have any way of recovering a corrupt xlam file? I lost about 50+ hours of work and I'm absolutely heartbroken. Please, if you can help, let me know. :-?

Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Zack,

Not sure if this will do it, but it claims to leave the original unmodified so you won't be any worse off.

Thanks Denis. I'd seen that, but I'm a poor boy who doesn't have $45 to spend on software. My wife thinks it's worth the time for me to put back into the project than spend the money. I was hoping somebody had the software and would test my file out on it.

I'll probably end up doing the work all over. I'm just heartbroken.

Hi Zack, sorry to hear that. I can understand your frustration. Losing a week for something like that is more than just a pain.

I hope you get the file back in some sort of working format soon.

Denis
