;) Hi dear

I would appreciate if you could help me with this:

I have a lab that requires me to record data (X) in the cell A1.

using a formula i will use (X) to get (Y) in the cell B1.

when I change the value of (X) in A1. i want the new value of (Y) to be recorded in B2, B3, B4..... for each new value of A1.

Many thanks

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Why not put the new values of X in A2, A3, ... and the formula in B1 into B2, B3 ...?
