How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest

I don't know. Surely it can be done, but may be complex. Is easy to capture frames and save as jpeg, but you will need a library or complex third party software to convert them to animated gif.

When I needed that, I used the geforce video capture, (there are many other free video capture software) and Adobe Premiere to crop and export to animated gif.

But the gif was too heavy, so I used an online gif optimizer to reduce his size, and upladed it to imgur, to post it on a forum.

¿No video capture? you surely have Powerpoint if you have Excel. It comes with a video capture tool, which let you select a crop window before recording, and can save as mp4 video format (right click>save media).
Then you can use many online webpages to convert to animated gif

Here, I recorded some excel work with Powerpoint 2013

Then I converted to animated gif with an online converter

Finally, I used ezgif.com to convert to animated gif, and used his size optimization to reduce it to 88 kb. It also has a crop tool, and other utilities.

Here is:

Then uploaded all to imgur...

Is a sure bet that Powerpoint VBA can record video, so it should be possible to call it from an excel VBA if you really want to do it, but I advice you to go to a specialized VBA forum to ask for how to.
