When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Don't know, but it would be a great idea if they could make it work. One approach I used to help learn the object model, was to create a mcro rather than VBA, and one I had it working, turn it into VBA using the conversion feature. Doesn't help at all with understanding recordsets, but the Excel recorder has limitations too...
