There are many good tutorials on line, and some I have visited, but being the twit I sometimes am, I useally need to ask a bunch of questions that just cannot be covered in a tutorial. My, umm, repertoire, of questions will try the most paitent of those who frequent forums like this and take the time to help others.

I ask for recommendations to accredited colleges that offer on line courses for computer science, and database training in particular. If I take a full up college course, and pay the tuition, then I get access to someone that will answer all my plethora of stupid little questions and ease my myriad of doubts and misunderstandings. Plus I get some formal credit if I want to work on a degree.

I searched for about an hour and a half last night but my results were really poor. Maybe this is a question that more than just me.

Bryan,

There are a number of online tutorials.
If you use 2007, take a look at this site

This is more aimed towards 2003.

The main difference is the interface; the concepts don't change.
Also, I tend to buy books when I work through something in detail. I can browse, annotate...

Look at Grover Park George on Access, available from the MrExcel Store. It covers all of the basics, and works you through a couple of small projects so you end up creating something useful as you go.

Another option is to purchase a couple of manuals with sample files, and work through those. A good Australian and UK based source is Watsonia Publishing.
