When I open Excel and choose "Open Other Workbooks" I see that I have managed a collection of "Recent Files" which is somewhat lengthy.

Simply right clicking a title allows me to "Remove from list".
That works well but that list does get horribly long at times.

Can some one please suggest a means to highlight files that I can batch remove according to my choice?
I've tried CTRL, ALT and SHIFT coupled with left mouse all of which open the file that I'd like to remove from my list.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
File>Options>Advanced>DisplayOptions

And change the 'Show this number of Recent Workbooks' quantity
