Hi all,

I am trying to get a value within a form to recalculate every time a particular field is updated. The value I want to recalculate is a sum function. I have put an Event Procedure on the field which can be changed which should trigger each time the field is updated. This event should run a piece of code which calculates the formula field. I have written the following;

Private Sub Selector_AfterUpdate()
Me.Recalc
End Sub

When I update the values in the source field I get an error message. Any ideas why this is not evaluating?

Thanks

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
What error message are you getting?

Hi there,

The message I am getting is as follows,

"The expression may not result in the name of a Macro, the name of the user defined function, or [Event Procedure]. There may have been an error evaluating the function, event or macro"
