Hi,

is it possible to just open up my excel file and have US dollar and EURO currencies right there in front of me, up-to-date?

(I'm asking for too much, right? :stickouttounge:)

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
depends where you get current data from, many routines to pull info from some websites via Internet Explorer. As for current, again depends on how quick that site updates

well, since you've said "depends" it means that it's actually possible to do this. Neat! :)

This is not something urgent, so we'll leave it for another time, but to answer your question I'd pull the currency from a Romanian site (bnr.ro) since I am from Romania, and the site updates daily, monday to friday, at 13.00 (Romania time, which is GMT +2)

Anyway, thanks for the tip :)
