We have an ND meter which logs energy consumption data. Meter points have sequential Modbus addresses. MODBUS tables hold the logged data with date/time, one day per table; next day is the next table.
Each meter measures up to 60 circuits (channels) and I have been tasked to provide a simple method to download the historic data every month. Excel seems ideal, with each circuit being in a separate tab.
Looping through sequential addresses, and through sequential tables, is fairly simple in VBA. Inputting the data via MODBUS RTU (or possible MODBUS TCP) is my problem. I am sure that there are some very expensive solutions (having found some) but my budget is quite limited.
