Hi....I am trying to find the name and location of the data used in a Dashboard. This dashboard was created by a previous employee. In the Data Pane, there are several tables listed, I know that the data and databases that would have been used were created in Microsoft SQL Server. Unfortunately there are several databases and tables that have been created as well. I would like to be able to find the database tables that the tables in the Data Pane were pulled from. Thanks

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Assuming you are using power BI, go to the report page, expand the data pane on the right hand side so you can see the tables, right click one of the tables and select “edit query”. This will take you to power query. If you click each query and select the source step, you will see where the data comes from.
