Re: color for tables in access

Office xp -Microsoft access

Hi I've designed a database and it's almost perfect..hahha...I wnated to use different colors for my product list, I have 3 companies into one table. But when I selected each companies product and change the font color it does the whole thing...

What I did was selected selected one company product list so it was hi lighted then clicked on the font color to just change the hilighted ones but it didn't work it did the whole thing...If any of you fabulous people in here could help me I'd appreciate it very much, and thank you ahead of time......

Have a great day

Re: color for tables in access

Tables don't offer much support for formatting; they are really just for data storage. You're going to need to do this sort of thing in either a form (not datasheet view) or a report.

Re: color for tables in access

Thank you for your reply

How do I do that ? My product list has 871 entries...one company has
242 entries, 2nd one has 246, and the last one has 384 entries...Now I have a form designed already and one column has all 871 entries. Now with the other amounts listed above those are ones I want to color in the same column ( 3 different one) to be able to disguished between them ...Is this possible

Thank you ahead of time
