ranks without gaps

Hi,

In column A I have got times eg.(08:00,09:00,09:00,09:30,10:00)
In Column B i'm getting the results (1,2,2,4,4,6) As it should be.
How can i get the results (1,2,2,3,3,4)

Can someone help please

B2, confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER, and copied down:

=SUM(IF(A2>$A$2:$A$7,1/COUNTIF($A$2:$A$7,$A$2:$A$7)))+1

Call me thick but what with the dollar signs?

this sheet is part of a much larger sheet simplified.

the times refer to delivery time, some time a customers will put 2 orders in for one load hence why there are on occasions duplicate time but they are part of the some load plan
i.e
rank 1 = load 4th,
both of the rank 2 = load 3rd,
both of the rank 3 = load 2nd and
rank 4 = load first on the trainer

I am trying to get it to determine and place "load 1st" etc. in the right order with no jumps between loads.
hope the pic can explain it more clearer than me.

Are the times always in the order that you have posted..ie from earliest to latest?
