Rank repeating cells

Hello, I am trying to rank a list of minimum values but when I use the formula RANK(A3,$A$3:$A$15,1) I get weird results making it ran the 6 as 5 and the 7 as 9. How do I make the formula rank 6 as 2 and 7 as 3?

Assuming you start in A3

=SUM(IF(A3>$A$3:$A$15, 1/COUNTIF($A$3:$A$15, $A$3:$A$15)))+1

which is an array function so needs to be entered using ctrl+shift+enter
