Rank of 2 condition data sets

Formula in C2 copied down
=COUNTIFS(A$2:A$13,A2,B$2:B$13,">"&B2)+COUNTIFS(A$2:A2,A2,B$2:B2,B2)

It works. Thank you so much. I would never think of this kind of formula for sure. Never see any A$2:A2 ...
