Range intersect function?

How can I determine whether or not a selected cell is part of a named range?

If Intersect(ActiveCell,Range("NamedRange")) Is Nothing Then
        MsgBox "It's NOT part of the named range"
Else
        MsgBox "It IS part of the named range"
