Hi All,

I just want a macro code to select random numbers in between 1 - 12. When i click in the work book button, random number should be displayed in near by cell. For Ex., If the button is in C2 and if i click it the random number should be displayed in C3.

Thanks in advance for you reply.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Perhaps some code like this might help?
Code:
Option Explicit
Public Sub InsertRandom()
    If Selection.Cells.Count = 1 Then
        Selection.Offset(1, 0).Value = Application.WorksheetFunction.RandBetween(1, 12)
    End If
End Sub
