One of our staff members runs Windows 98 SE and MS Office 2000. On random Excel files, with no reason (at least no apparent reason) an error message will suddenly appear. Most of the time it says : "Pure Virtual function called" and in this case, here are the details :

EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at 017f:3004fe71.

The other alternative is : "This program has performed an illegal operation and will now close".

In both case, Excel shuts down. We tried to uninstall and reinstall Office, and did not do anything. Please, if you can be of any help, don't hesitate!

Thanks in advance, Greg.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
