Random errors occuring

I have a pretty large workbook, with one main worksheet running quite a few formulas and arrays, pulling from various other worksheets in the workbook (that are essentially the reference databases) as well as one large worksheet that essentially contains thousands of replicated functions from the main worksheet, but over different dates and times and numbers (all relative to the main worksheet choices, allowing for relative, historical calculations).

When a certain main value is changed, some of the functions work, and some don't, i.e., some of the replicated formulas and arrays function as they should and some of them don't. Which functions work varies; some of the replicated functions work while others won't. There appears to be no logic behind it, as sometimes everything works just fine and sometimes nothing wants to work, and sometimes it's a smattering of works and doesn't. I've updated my RAM (to make sure I wasn't taxing the software too much) but that didn't change anything.

Has anyone had errors like this before? I'm somewhat at a loss, as "everything works," but only when it wants to. Do I have to buy it a cake or tell it that it is a good program? Am I just not being positive enough towards it?

Most appreciated,
JRS

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
