Hi all
I need your help i want to design an application and at the same time this application will be based on excel formulas , the reason for that dealing with large data over 250MB the excel file get freezed in calcualtion
So i thought to design my own app but iam hesitated which language which i should learn to help me in this porpuse i have read that R language is powerful language and rich with excel formulas

But i don't know if i start to learn at the end it will do my porpuse designing application based on excel calculations large data with given inputs
I need your advice

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
R is a statistical program and has a number of packages that will link with Excel, but not sure what you mean by R being rich with excel formulas.
One thing to keep in mind is R has a steep learning curve. For statistics it is better than Excel unless you are just doing simple things like mean, median, stdev., etc.
Maybe some of these links will be of help to you.
