Quoting a post with a BB code table

If I want to quote a post that contains a BB code table I'm not able to cut/exclude that table from the portion I want to quote.

For example, if the post contains this table:

3​	TRUE​

If I click the "reply with quote" button I see the table as it's displayed. I don't see the code used to create the table...

There doesn't seem to be a way to cut out the table code.

Including the table in a quote would be a waste of precious space!

Tony, what browser/forum settings are you using as I see the code and seem to be able to cut or delete the table easy enough (hope I am reading your problem correctly here)?

I think I have it straightened out.

I changed the board setting Message Editor Interface to Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls.

I haven't tested it extensively to see if there may be unforeseen side effects.

For example, cutting a table now works but _____ no longer works!

I'll check with my settings on my laptop & PC when I get home as on my phone the line I can still edit(see above) unless you are saying you can't see the line (underscore).

No, I was just using that as a fill-in-the-blank example.

Sometimes, making settings changes can have unknown consequences. What used to work under the old setting may not work under the new setting.

Bottom line...

With the changed setting I am now able to edit out a code generated table!
