Good day all, </SPAN>
</SPAN>
At the moment I am working on a project to create quotations.
</SPAN></SPAN>
I have one “Fill in” file, which will be used by several people. This file consists of Cells which have to be filled in, drop down functions and Active X Controls (drop down functions). Basically this is the file where the users do their input, afterwards they run a macro which opens a template (subject to the language, clauses of the office of the user). And their input will be pasted into the applicable template. </SPAN>
</SPAN>
The coding of the Macro was no problem, but I have a question concerning the data which is behind the dropdown functions and ActiveX Controls. </SPAN></SPAN>

I believe an ideal scenario would be to create the “Fill in” file without any tables/data in it. (Because this file needs to be shared, this isn’t possible if they’re any tables in the workbook. </SPAN></SPAN>
Is there somehow a possibility to for example link my drop down functions and Active X Controls to data in another Excel workbook/ access database? (I have tried name manager, and creating links between 2 Workbooks by using specific names). But I was wondering if there might be any other options.
</SPAN></SPAN>
I would prefer to keep the data separated from my “Fill in” workbook, because the data will have to be regularly updated by the users (F.e.: Create a new customer, ..). I’d rather have the “fill in” file not saved, in order to prevent errors.
</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> --> Data behind the dropdown functions needs to be updated/ Saved</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN> -->“Fill in” may not be saved</SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN>
If someone would have any ideas, I’d love to hear them! </SPAN></SPAN>

Thanks in advance! </SPAN></SPAN>
