I often want to change what cell range a Name refers to, and want to know quickest way to do so.

Currently, I open the Name Manager (which i can do w/ Alt+3, b/c i put it on the Quick Access Toolbar), but my file has several hundred names and scrolling through to find what I want to change is tedious.

It's simple enough to CREATE new named ranges (using the "Name Box" field to the left of the main Formula Bar), but are there any shortcuts to change a Name reference I've already set up? Even just opening the Name Manager with the Name I want already selected would be a huge help. Is there some shortcut you Named Range power-users use?

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
top left, type the current range name to select, then i think you can type your new name in there, not tried that

Yes, typing in the Name Box will create a new Named Range (or can create a secondary Name for the same range reference), but that's not what I'm trying to do > I want to change the range / (aka the Cell Reference value) for an existing Named Range. E.g. if currently "Custom_Range" refers to $A$1:$Z:$1, but I want to change it so that same Named Range refers to $A$5:$Z$5. I currently have to pull up Name Manager, scroll through the 200+ Named Ranges i have to find Custom_Range, and manually type in the new value (or use the selection wand from that dialog box). Wanted to know if there was a faster way to do that.
