Hello,

You know how if you have a formula in a cell you can copy it to the bottom of the data in the column preceeding it by double clikcing hte little dot in the bottom right hand corner when you get a black + cursor.

Is there a way to do this via keyboard without having to double click with the mouse?

Thanks in advance

You could, but it's messy, as you have to select the range to fill first. Once you've selected the range ( including the first formula to copy ) press Ctrl-D.

The messy bit might be done by selecting a cell in the data area, doing ctrl-downarrow to get to the bottom of the data, arrowing to the empty cell of the range you want to fill, and doing Ctrl-Shift-Uparrow to select the formula cell and the range to fill. Then do Ctrl-D.

Now you know why I prefer to use the mouse.
